Role Description The Solar Energy Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Temecula, CA. This position involves meeting with residential and commercial customers to assess their energy needs, explain solar power options, and present customized proposals. The consultant will manage the full sales cycle, including lead follow-up, in-person consultations, and closing agreements, while maintaining accurate records in the CRM system. Daily responsibilities include generating new leads through outreach and events, providing excellent customer service, coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth installation processes, and staying informed about solar products, incentives, and industry trends.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the Solar Industry and Solar Power, including basic system components and benefits.
  • Experience with Lead Generation through networking, referrals, events, or outbound outreach.
  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to build trust, explain technical concepts clearly, and address concerns.
  • Proven sales or consulting experience, preferably in renewable energy or home services.
  • Ability to work on-site in Temecula, CA, with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Comfort using CRM software and basic productivity tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentation software).
  • High level of integrity, self-motivation, and goal orientation, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, engineering, or environmental studies is a plus.
