Position Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Solar Residential Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our solar energy systems to homeowners. As a key member of our sales team, you'll educate potential customers about the benefits of solar energy, assess their energy needs, and help them make an informed decision to transition to clean, renewable energy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate Leads: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within your assigned region through cold calling, networking, referrals, and partnerships.

  • Consultative Selling: Meet with homeowners to assess their energy needs, explain the benefits of solar energy, and create customized solar solutions.

  • Product Knowledge: Educate customers about solar technology, financial incentives, and available rebates or tax credits to make their investment more affordable.

  • Sales Presentations: Conduct in-home presentations, virtual meetings, and site assessments to close sales and explain the installation process.

  • Build Relationships: Develop and maintain strong customer relationships by providing excellent service and follow-up throughout the sales process.

  • Sales Reporting: Track leads, opportunities, and sales progress through our CRM system.

  • Collaborate: Work closely with the installation and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution from start to finish.

  • Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, solar products, and financing options to offer the best solutions to customers.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous sales experience, preferably in solar energy, home improvement, or similar industries. Will train motivated candidates with no prior solar experience.

  • Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

  • Self-Motivated: Highly driven and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using digital tools and CRM software for lead management and sales tracking.

  • Knowledgeable: A basic understanding of solar energy and home energy efficiency is a plus.

  • Valid Driver’s License: Required for travel to client homes.

  • Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
