Solar Installer Helper

Pay: $18 / hour - weekly paychecks

Location: Reading PA - Commercial Retail Job Site

Job Type: Full time 40+ hours/week

Job Description

Assembling solar panels on site and assisting Journeyman with mounting and installing them. Must be able to operate hand and power tools safely, as well as read basic blueprints. This is a commercial job site - a large scale project for a Boscov's Department Store.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in assembling solar panels.
  • Perform general construction labor duties as needed.
  • Load and unload solar panels.
  • Use a tape measure and follow foreman's directions for accurate alignment.
  • Operate tools including wrenches, impact drill, and hammer.
Requirements
  • 1 year of electrical experience or general construction experience
  • Electrical knowledge and ability to safely operate tools
  • Electrical schooling is a plus!

We are open to recent graduates of tech school with a focus in Electrical! Recent Graduates from Berks Technical Institute who are looking to get their foot in the door and gain experience within the electrical industry are encouraged to apply.
