Locations: Houston, TX (or nearby areas) (Travel Intensive)
 

Role Summary

Looking for a Houston-based Solar & BESS Technician to perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting on commercial and utility-scale solar and battery storage systems.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and troubleshoot commercial/utility-scale solar PV arrays and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

Inspect and service inverters, transformers, switchgear, and monitoring systems.

Support system startup, testing, and commissioning on site.

Follow strict electrical safety protocols (OSHA, NFPA 70E).

 

Requirements

Experience: 2+ years in commercial solar, utility-scale sites, or BESS.

Preferred Background: Prior experience with renewable contractors like CES, Pierce Power, Lightwave, or similar.

Location & Travel: Based in Houston, TX, with flexibility to travel to project sites.

Skills: Strong knowledge of PV systems, industrial batteries, and high-voltage electrical equipment.
