Electrician

Location: Rochester, New York

Pay Range: $27/hr to $34/hr based on experience.

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of electrical systems and safety procedures, and be able to read technical diagrams and blueprints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures.
  • Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes (e.g., NEC).
  • Inspect electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers.
  • Identify electrical problems using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
  • Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
  • Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electrical Code.
  • Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment.
