Job description

Job Title: ReStore Manager
Solano-Napa Habitat for Humanity is seeking a capable, confident, mission-driven ReStore Manager to provide strategic leadership for our ReStore operations. This role is ideal for a people-focused leader who can balance nonprofit mission with retail performance, build strong teams, and drive sustainable revenue growth.
About the Role
The ReStore Manager sets direction and leads the overall performance, culture, and sustainability of the ReStore. Working in partnership with an Assistant Manager who oversees daily operations, the ReStore Manager focuses on leadership, systems, financial health, and community relationshipsโ€”ensuring the ReStore is a welcoming shopping destination and a reliable funding source for Habitatโ€™s housing mission.
Full-Time, Exempt Time Commitment: This is a full-time, exempt position, typically working 40 hours weekly, Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Additional work hours outside the regular business day may be necessary.
Salary Range: $70,304 - $75,000 annually
Benefits: Twelve paid holidays per year, one sick day per month, 80 hours of paid vacation, participation in Kaiser Health Plan.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and inspire staff and volunteers, fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.
  • Provide strategic and financial leadership, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring.
  • Build and maintain relationships with retailers and suppliers to secure consistent donations of high-value merchandise.
  • Set and uphold high standards for customer, donor, and volunteer experiences.
  • Oversee operational systems related to inventory, merchandising, donations, facilities, and safety.
  • Serve as a visible ambassador for the ReStore and Solano-Napa Habitat for Humanity in the community.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership or management experience supervising staff and/or volunteers.
  • Strong people-management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Financial acumen and experience managing budgets and performance metrics.
  • Passion for Habitat for Humanityโ€™s mission and commitment to equity and inclusion.

Work Environment
Retail and warehouse setting with regular standing and walking; ability to move/lift objects and operate equipment such as a forklift and box truck on occasion (training provided as needed).
