Job Summary:
Mühlbauer Group is an international company headquartered in Newport News, Virginia, seeking a Software Engineer to develop and customize software for semiconductor machines. The role involves software development, customer training, and support, as well as enhancing the software development process based on customer feedback.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and test software for Mühlbauer’s semiconductor applications;
• Help produce semiconductor software for Muhlbauer customers;
• Obtain input from customers to enhance the company’s software development process;
• Provide acceptance and software training for Mühlbauer’s semiconductor systems at customer’s sites;
• Provide software support service for customers;
• Complete appropriate written documentation and feedback for service interventions.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering or an equivalent foreign degree
• Two years of relevant post-bachelor experience in developing and installing software for industrial machines and providing software engineering support to customers, including training and servicing
• Development and implementation of user interfaces
• Development and implementation of software Uptime Analysis tools
• Production support in high-volume production environment
• Software testing
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio Professional for C, C++, C# programming and debugging
• Experience with Microsoft Azure for TFS code server management
• Experience with TwinCAT PLC control for Beckhoff development
• Experience with TwinCAT system manager for Beckhoff application and debugging
• Experience with Enterprise architect or Microsoft Visio for software block diagram
• Experience with OPC server for interface between machine and GUI
• Experience with ICE and GEM for SECS/GEM application
• Experience with AnyDesk, Teamviewer for remote support
