Job Description QA Automation & UAT Tester - Commercial Banking Contract Length: 3 Months initially, with strong potential for extension Location: Charlotte, NC Work Arrangement: 100% onsite, 5 days per week initially; flexibility may be possible later based on performance Contract Type: Contract Interview: 30-minute Microsoft Teams interview Anticipated Start Date: September 7, 2026 Rate: $40-45/hr Position Summary We are seeking an experienced QA Automation & UAT Tester to support a large-scale testing transformation initiative within a Commercial Banking environment. This role requires a combination of hands-on test automation expertise and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) experience. The ideal candidate will be comfortable developing and maintaining automated test solutions while also performing end-to-end UAT activities, test execution, defect management, and business validation.

The successful candidate will help bridge the gap between automation and UAT as the organization modernizes its testing practices. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test scripts. Identify opportunities to transition manual testing processes into automated solutions.

Perform comprehensive UAT testing, including test planning, execution, validation, and defect tracking. Partner with business stakeholders to validate requirements and confirm expected outcomes. Translate business requirements into both manual and automated test cases.

Execute manual and automated test cases across multiple applications and platforms. Support end-to-end testing throughout the software development lifecycle. Document test scenarios, test cases, defects, and test results.

Collaborate with development, QA, and business teams to ensure high-quality releases. Manage defects, testing documentation, and test results. Contribute to testing transformation initiatives by improving automation coverage while maintaining strong UAT support.

Required Qualifications 5+ years of QA, software testing, or related experience. 3-4+ years of hands-on UAT testing experience within Commercial Banking. 2+ years of experience with modern test automation tools and frameworks.

Strong experience developing and maintaining automated test scripts. Proven experience converting manual test scripts and processes into automated test solutions. Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, test execution, defect management, and test reporting.

Hands-on Tricentis Tosca experience. Tosca AS1 and AS2 certification. Experience executing UAT testing and supporting business validation activities.

Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into effective test cases. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
