This Software Engineer is a member of Data Center Infrastructure organization, typically working with Engineers, Analysts, Service Delivery Analysts and reporting to a Director.
Responsibilities
  • Develops and maintains software applications and solutions
  • Writes clean, efficient, and well-documented code
  • Completes code reviews and automated testing with guidance from peers and leaders
  • Debugs basic software components and identifies code defects for remediation
  • Supports and monitors software across test, integration, and production environments
  • Collaborates and co-creates effectively with teams in product and the business to align technology initiatives with business objectives

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of software development experience in a professional environment and/or comparable experience such as:
    • Familiar with Agile or rapid application development methods including DevOps and CI/CD
    • Experience with design and coding across one or more platforms and languages as appropriate; Design / coding across ASP.NET / ASP.NET CORE with C# and MVC, ReTool, CSS, Python, ReSTful services, MS SQL (query writing and running, parameterized stored procedures, SQL Server Agent job creation and maintenance, Integration Services (SSIS), Reporting Services (SSRS), Analysis Services (SSAS), JavaScript
    • Experience with development support tools like Visual Studio, JIRA, GIT, Confluence, Docker
    • Familiarity with data-modeling, data warehousing concepts/methodologies, relational database design, and how BI tools interact with underlying data structures
    • Experience with API programming, micro services, release planning, CI/CD, DevOps, SSL, Windows/Linux server administration and maintenance
    • Hands-on expertise with application design, software development and automated testing
    • Demonstrated experience with object-oriented design and coding in various languages
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering, or related experience required
