Job description

Kinetic is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to lead software and technology quality assurance initiatives. This management-level role involves strategic oversight, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring high-quality deliverables across multiple projects.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and lead application and software testing processes using Azure DevOps Test Plans.
  • Oversee system and software functionality monitoring and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Lead automated testing and problem-solving efforts across development projects.
  • Advise and implement best practices and optimizations throughout QA processes.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and Project Managers to develop quality management and testing plans.
  • Mentor junior QA staff and provide guidance on testing methodologies.
  • Develop test plans and strategies to identify bugs and exploits in applications.
  • Establish and manage reporting and automated monitoring systems.
  • Manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget constraints.
  • Implement feedback and continuous improvement initiatives.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software QA/QC roles, including management responsibilities.
  • Proven Ability to lead a team of 10.
  • Advanced knowledge of software development frameworks and QA methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps Test Plans. JIRA is nice to have.


Compensation and longevity

  • The position is full time, but limited to four months.
  • Pay is $50-60/hour DOE
  • Position is based in Ridgeland, hybrid work environment is possible.
