What is a software testing internship?

A Software Testing Internship is a temporary position where students or recent graduates gain practical experience in testing software applications for bugs, usability, and performance issues. You may also get hands-on experience with various testing tools and methodologies, such as manual testing, automated testing, and regression testing. Interns often participate in daily stand-ups and collaborate with quality assurance engineers to understand best practices, providing a valuable opportunity to learn about the software development lifecycle and gain practical skills that are highly valued in the industry.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a software testing intern, and why are they important?
