Job description

Job Summary:
Neighborly Software is dedicated to helping communities support low-income families and vulnerable populations. They are seeking a Software Engineer II to assist in analyzing, investigating, and resolving platform production items to support their clients and client-success teams.
Responsibilities:
• Implement well-defined features, fixes, and enhancements following established coding standards and SDLC processes
• Participate in code reviews and apply feedback to improve code quality and consistency
• Support small automation or tooling enhancements for repetitive tasks
• Investigate and resolve assigned support tickets and basic production defects
• Perform initial debugging, contribute to RCA documentation for moderate-severity issues, and escalate complex cases appropriately
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide timely, clear updates during incident handling
• Work with Product, QA, Security, DevOps, and Client-Facing teams to clarify requirements and support issue investigations
• Follow established communication and incident-management processes to ensure consistent, reliable handoffs and responsiveness
• Contribute to maintaining documentation related to features, fixes, and operational learnings
Qualifications:
Required:
• BS/MS degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in C#/.NET
• Ability to debug and fix application issues
Preferred:
• Proficiency in Azure Services(preferred) or AWS
• Exposure to services in Azure (or equivalent in AWS): ADF, API-Management, Service Bus, Power BI, Azure Functions
• Experience working with monitoring tools App Insights etc.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, SDLC Tools like JIRA/Confluence
