Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Manufacturing Quality Technician to work on-site with our client, a top-tier Fortune 1000 electronics company. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits.
Responsibilities:
Mechanical measurement of precision milled, turned, chemical milled, wire EDM, gun drilled, plated, laser machined, and other specialty processes used in the production of high frequency electronic components.
Qualifications:
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field or equivalent field experience 2-5 years in quality control within manufacturing environment.
  • Must have Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) background, with ability read and interpret 2D drawings and 3D models.
  • Must have experience with mechanical metrology hand tool usage (calipers, micrometers, gages).
  • Strong PC (MS Windows/Office) skills are a must.
  • Requires excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Hands on experience with operation of CMM, Optical Interferometry equipment, precision gages preferred.
  • Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machine and Optical Surface Profilers preferred.
  • 3D modeling knowledge with NX, SolidWorks, or other software preferred.
  • Experience with SPC software and data analysis approaches preferred.
  • Experience in ISO9001, AS9100 with recognized certifications ASQ-CMI-CQI Experience with ANSI Z540.3, ISO 17025 preferred.
