Responsibilities

The Quality Technician will support Keysight manufactured and external sourced components that will later be assembled into test equipment. Specific duties include: mechanical measurement of precision milled, turned, chemical milled, wire EDM, gun drilled, plated, laser machined, and other specialty processes used in the production of high frequency electronic components.  The candidate will be responsible for direct application of technical skills.  Working within the designated area of expertise, the candidate will clarify, analyze, develop, and implement actions and solutions while supporting business directives adhering to the highest professional standards.

This position requires some education, and/or specialized training/certification.

  • Must have Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) background, with ability read and interpret 2D drawings and 3D models.
  • Must have experience with mechanical metrology hand tool usage (calipers, micrometers, gages.
  • Strong PC (MS Windows/Office) skills are a must.
  • Requires excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate mechanical competence.
  • Works with clearly defined objectives.
  • Solves technical problems of limited scope and complexity. 
  • Exhibits the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with wide range of people.
  • Adheres to the highest standards of business ethics.
  • Provides consistent, solid contribution to team delivery goals.
  • Exercises good discretion in the use of time and other Keysight resources.
  • Maintains high workmanship standards and delivers on commitments.  
  • Adheres to established processes and is responsible for achieving established team goals.
