Role: Automation Engineer (Playwright)

Location: Issaquah, WA (3 Days)

Duration: 12+ Months

 

Must Have:

  • 10+ Years of exp in Automation
  • 7+ Years of Exp in Playwright
  • 4+ Years of exp In Azure SQL and/or Transact-SQL

 

Requirements:

  • We are looking for a Quality Engineer with Playwright experience on packaged applications.
  • Defines the testing strategy and approach to validate new or enhanced functionality implemented by teams.
  • Collaborates with development team members to identify candidates for test case automation.
  • Creates and executes manual and automated test scripts to validate the acceptance criteria defined within the epics and user stories implemented by team members. Collaborates with team members to decompose functional and nonfunctional requirements into test scripts and scenarios.
  • Develops functional test plans for complex systems.
  • Designs and develops high quality test automation frameworks, from which others can create repeatable automated tests.
  • Works with engineers to identify deficiencies within a product/application s code base and identifies opportunities to improve overall code quality.
  • Implements API Level Automation using various technologies and tools.
  • Develops complex SQL against a variety of data sources.
  • Leverages/Implements data pipelines to ensure data is reliable, accessible, and optimized for analysis.
  • Analyzes, identifies, and validates functional aspects of a shared service, supporting multiple applications.
  • Raises the standards for QA practices and stays up-to-date with the latest technologies both in the Company and industry and utilizes them to good effect.
  • Identifies test tools and processes to monitor, maintain, and report defects in the application.

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years current and demonstrable software quality assurance hands-on experience (front-end and back-end testing).
  • 5-8 years experience with Azure SQL and/or Transact-SQL.
  • Experience working with architects, developers, and QA across multiple teams. Proficient with Agile testing methodologies and best practices in a Quality Engineer role. Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a close team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced working environment.
  • 4+ years experience with back-end testing writing SQL queries and testing stored procedures.

In compliance with the salary transparency law, the expected pay range for this role is $60 – $65/hr. Actual compensation depends on experience and interview evaluation.
