Job Description

Key Responsibilities: 

Identifies, documents and prioritizes order scenarios to be automated 

Identifies, documents and prioritizes regression test cases to be automated 

Communicates effectively with business teams regarding the requirements for automated test cases. 

Estimates time required to develop automated test cases and break down the project into tasks required for completion. 

Automates documented smoke and regression test cases, using QTP 

Partners with Center of Excellence and Order Management Leadership to understand Automation strategy, approach and best practices 

Ensures automation efforts adhere to overall Automation strategy, approach and best practices 

Executes smoke and regression test cases during release cycles 

After implementation, measures and analyzes the ROI of the automated test cases. 

Trains existing Order Management staff how to automate using QTP tool 

Adapts to shifting priorities and able to work on multiple projects in single quarter 


Qualifications

Previous Experience 

1 + years related experience including automation test development. 

Recent experience with C++, C#, .NET or VBScript to develop linked libraries and/or executables. 

Experience with multiple automated testing tools (QTP preferred) 

Experience working with SAP and SFDC preferred 

Demonstrated experience working with a Global Team. 

Demonstrated ability to work with limited supervision; be a self-starter 


Required Knowledge and Skills 

Four-year degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related field or relevant work experience. 

Self-motivated, enthusiastic, team-building attitude (be able to provide technical help to other members of the automation team, deployment teams, and to projects under test). 

Must have strong written and oral communication skills and be able to present to team members and other employees. 

Experience in various types of testing: systems, functional, acceptance, validation, etc, and apply the needs of the user to the design and development of the test cases. 

Basic understanding of principles, theories and techniques for managing activities involved in planning and implementing projects and programs. 

Has the ability to adapt to the changing needs of a project 

Desired Skills: 

Experience with HP Quick Test Professional is a plus. 

Experience in working with teams in various remote locations 

Knowledge of SAP (Order to Cash) 

Knowledge of SFDC
