Job description

Project Executive

Coverings Group is a commercial flooring company with offices in North Carolina, and plans for additional locations throughout the Southeast and beyond. We are building a high functioning team that will allow us to be the top resource in the flooring industry.

We are looking for an experienced Project Executive for our Raleigh, NC office. This person is responsible for a multitude of things. The Project Executive must work well within a team environment. They must communicate with the appropriate team members regarding each project. Project Executives must prioritize time management to meet appropriate deadlines. This person participates in regular meetings with sales & production team members.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Estimating

  • Start CRM projects
  • Manage take offs with estimating company
  • Analyze returned take offs, prioritize attention to details and capturing all scopes
  • Send pricing requests to manufacturers' representatives
  • Input cost sheet into software for sales team to finalize
  • Complete quick turnaround take offs

Project Management

  • Review plans and estimates for mistakes and strategic cost savings
  • Manage submittal- confirm appropriate materials are submitted, review returned approvals and revise as needed
  • Material management
  • Update plan revisions
  • Timely and profitable change orders
  • Handle escalations (dropped products, material delays, installation issues)
  • Work with project manager to ensure accurate installation
  • Work with Accounts Payable on appropriate monthly billing
  • Develop working relationships and rapport with customers
