Job description

NAVA Software solutions is looking for an Infrastructure Project Manager for one of our clients.
Details:
Infrastructure Project Manager
Location: NYC (atleast 1 day/ week onsite rest remote)
Duration: 6-12 months
The Project Manager will coordinate and manage all aspects various departments and banking groups in the firm, and manage communications and project updates. The Project Manager will maintain project plans, ensure the project remains on schedule, anticipate and alert management to any potential delays, issues, or dependencies with the project. In addition, they will work with bankers and staff throughout the deployment process to confirm adoption of the new systems and business processes, that appropriate training is provided, and to gather and relay feedback to the project team.
The role requires excellent organizational and communications skills, and experience with enterprise system deployments. The Project Manager must also have a service-oriented mentality, proactively identify problems and see them through to resolution, and establish good working relationships with the project team.
Here are a few examples of the kind of projects they will work on;
  1. Hardware refresh (networking/storage) projects for varying offices
  2. AV/VC upgrades
  3. Telephony related projects
  4. Internal software upgrades
  5. Vendor management
  6. Operational related projects, such as patching.

Essential Responsibilities:
  1. Establish a master project plan across business and Management and Operations groups, coordinate and track tasks accordingly.
  2. Provide resource planning and set expectations for individuals and the project team.
  3. Ensure proper communications among project stakeholders, management, vendors, and others as appropriate. Hold regular team meetings to gather projectupdates.
  4. Provide management dashboards and briefings to facilitate senior sponsor meetings.
  5. Identify and assist in managing risks and dependencies related to the project.
  6. Oversee the development of training and communications plans for the rollout.
  7. Work closely with bankers and other end users throughout the deployment to ensure go-live readiness, adoption, and customer satisfaction.

Education and Experience:
  1. 5-10 years of project management experience.
  2. Strong verbal and writing skills.
  3. Successful candidates will be self-motivated with a strong desire to contribute to the success of the department and company.
  4. Established track record of project management leadership and strategic planning experience.
