Job Summary:

Software Project Manager is responsible for working with the application development team to deliver IT/Software projects in an agile environment.

Job Description:
  • Experience with software development in a multi-team environment.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Experience with industry leading project management practices including understanding of Agile methodologies, values, and procedures.
  • Ability to organize and execute projects in a consistent, repeatable and reliable manner.
  • Must be collaborative in driving decisions.
  • Experience in Healthcare and/or PBM (preferred).
Job Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with Program Manager to assist in facilitation of project planning, prioritization, execution, delivery, and collaboration to bring projects to closure.
  • Facilitate and capture meeting minutes.
  • Works collaboratively within the technology team and cross-functional teams to track and follow up notes and various action items to resolution.
  • Report and escalated to management as needed.
  • Run the agile scrum meetings daily as a scrum master in an efficient way keeping track of all impediments and ensuring they are resolved in a timely fashion.
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Qualifications: 1. Education and/or Training:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business Management required.
2. Professional Experience:
  • 3-5 years of Program Analyst or project management experience managing Software Development Projects.
3. Licenses/Certifications:
  • PMP certification (preferred)
4. Specialized Skills:
  • Strong organizational, cross-team communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
5. Technical Skills:
  • Strong PC skills; MS Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point.
  • Working with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) (preferred).
6. Additional Considerations:
  • Applicants must be able to pass a background investigation as all offers are pending a successful completion of background check per the company policy.
