Job description

Ready to define what software operations looks like in the age of agentic AI?
AWS DevOps Agent has launched - and we're just getting started. This is a rare 01 opportunity to shape the future of how organizations run software in production, moving from reactive firefighting to AI-driven operational excellence across the full post-development SDLC.
We're looking for a Principal PMT who brings deep DevOps domain expertise, a practitioner's instincts, and the vision to reimagine what's possible when agentic AI meets software delivery and operations. If you're energized by building in a space that's being defined in real time - this is that role.
Key job responsibilities
- Own product vision and strategy for how agentic AI transforms the way organizations ship and run software
- Drive 01 innovation across new capability areas, from concept through launch
- Develop and pressure-test business models - including pricing, packaging, and monetization strategies - that make the product viable and scalable
- Work backwards from customers to define what "operational excellence" means in a world of AI agents
- Build and execute go-to-market strategies, including positioning, launch planning, and strategic partnerships
- Partner deeply with engineering to ship at the pace this market demands, with the technical depth to make the right tradeoffs
- Engage customers and partners at the executive level to shape the roadmap and build strategic relationships across the DevOps ecosystem
A day in the life
On any given day, you might be in a customer call unpacking an incident workflow in the morning, in a pricing review after lunch, and whiteboarding a new capability with engineering by end of day

You know the DevOps world - the on-call rotations, the observability gaps, the pressure of a production deployment - and that shapes how you think about the product. You're comfortable going deep on details and presenting to senior leadership. You use AI tools not just to move faster, but to work differently.
About the team
We're a high-ownership, high-velocity team operating in a space that is being defined in real time.
We have a broad mix of experience levels and tenures, and we're building an environment that celebrates knowledge-sharing and mentorship

Senior members engage in one-on-one mentoring, and we care deeply about career growth - assigning projects that build both product and technical expertise so you feel empowered to take on more complex challenges over time.
