Position Type: Full Time

Salary Range: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 Salary/year

Job Summary

Serves as the main point of contact for the Operations Team including Warehouse, Counter and Mobile Service Teams. Ensures that the overall operations, administration, distribution, and sales functions work harmoniously for the branch location. Serves as a first line of defense for the Branch Manager and serves as the main point of contact in the Branch manager's absence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Providing support and direction of the overall operations, administration, distribution, and sales functions for the branch.
  • Serve as point of contact for HosePower Regional Outside Sales team to assist with quotes, bids and order entry.
  • Communicate with production, sales and our customers on any issues impacting our ability to meet the acknowledged ship dates, or other order related questions.
  • Facilitate the scheduling of production, expediting late vendor shipments, find additional sourcing if needed and updating our system so all team members can see the most current status of the order(s) to meet our customer’s needs.
  • Support all branch manager directives - particularly when branch manager is off premises.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field or 3-5 years’ experience in the Industrial Hose industry
  • Intermediate to Advance in MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook), with a willingness to learn new software programs.
  • Ability to multi-task, and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with industrial distribution, preferably fluid power components preferred.
  • Ability to work with a wide variety of people and personalities.
