Job description

CM Shredders Operation Manager is responsible for all manufacturing operations including materials management, inventory control, machining, fabrication and assembly. Accountable for results in terms of costs, budgets, methods, quantities, quality of production and personnel. RESPONSIBILITIES: Directly oversee purchasing, scheduling, manufacturing shipping, receiving and inventory control.

Develop and maintain schedules to ensure on time shipments. Ensure that all products are manufactured to specification and are of the highest quality. Develop and maintain forecasts schedules and inventory levels.

Develop and maintain budgets for all areas of responsibility. Maintain manufacturing operations including machinery, fabrications, and assembly. Develop and maintain capacities plans and ensure proper personnel levels.

Maintain property building and equipment. Plan and layout work, assign instruct and direct all manufacturing associates. Maintain all work areas and eliminate safety hazards.

Develop and maintain all environmental, fire and safety procedures including corporate directives, Federal, State and local compliance. Maintain discipline, morale and create a harmonious work environment. Any other additional duties assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing /Mechanical or Industrial Engineering. Experience: 7+years of experience as an Sr Operations Manager in a Manufacturing setting CNC machining experience Specific Skills, Ability, and Knowledge: Proven experience in manufacturing operations management, preferably in a similar industry. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate teams and drive results.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills. In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety regulations. Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Experience with inventory management systems and ERP software. Effective communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
