Job description

Your Key Responsibilities

Provide support for manufacturing area and related support functions.
Daily Scheduling meetings and activities with Production Leaders.
Verify capacity and demand risks, highlighting and communicating constraints.
Updating SAP Material Masters.
Communicate with external suppliers.
Monitor deliveries from suppliers for assigned materials and updating SAP.
Planning - Creation of releases and EDI transmission to Suppliers.
Monitoring inventory levels, react accordingly to min and max.
Support inventory and cost reduction activities.
Analyze MRP run and determine demand.
Order management including purchase orders, production orders to tool centers and scheduling agreements with suppliers of assigned materials.
Provide consumption reports as needed.
Other activities/ projects as assigned.

Your Qualifications

Currently enrolled at a post-secondary educational institution in Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management program 
Solid knowledge of computer applications and software
Strong knowledge and skills in MS Excel
Ease at math and problem solving.
Some flexibility with working hours
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Basic knowledge in SAP
Consistent and effective planning abilities
Disciplined, organized and attentive to detail
