Job description

POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a motivated Software Development Intern to join our team! As a Software Development Intern, you will assist in developing and testing web applications while gaining exposure to modern development tools and agile methodologies.
U.S. Venture's Internship Program runs May - August 2027. Dates may vary based on individual class schedules. This position is located at our Corporate Office in Appleton, WI.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist in the full stack development and testing of web applications

  • Collaborate with senior developers on various software development projects

  • Participate in agile development processes and team meetings

  • Contribute to the improvement of existing software performance optimization and bug fixes

  • Implement new features and functionality to improve user experience

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Working toward a degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering, or comparable preferred
  • Interest in web application development
  • Experience in C#, HTML, CSS
  • Git or similar version control system
  • Experience with APIs using REST principles preferred
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming languages
  • Eager to learn new technologies and frameworks
  • Agile thinker and capable of working effectively as part of a team
