The EE/SW Integration Manager at the OEM level owns vehicle and system-level electrical and software integration strategy, execution, and release readiness across multiple vehicle programs. The EE/SW Integration Sr. Manager is responsible for ensuring that all electrical and software systems deliver the intended vehicle-level functional performance. This role goes beyond architecture compliance and focuses on feature behavior, timing performance, system robustness, drivability impact, and cross-domain interaction quality. The position owns system-level validation and readiness of how the vehicle behaves under real-world conditions, including transient events, edge cases, environmental stress, and feature concurrency. Work directly with MSTs, software engineers, systems engineers, validation teams, and suppliers to ensure robust delivery.

• Lead integration of infotainment cluster, driver + center displays along with infotainment, telemetry module in SDV architectures 
• Lead Integration & verification of Android, Linux, QNX, subsystem modules. 
• Lead the integrationof multi-OS environments, includingbut not limited to Android Automotive OS,Linux, andQNXsubsystem modules. 
• Bridge the gapbetween core software developers and vehicle hardware integration teams. 
• Develop robust test strategiesto effectively validate subsystem modules on both test benches (HIL/SIL) and full physical vehicles. 
• Drive test automationby migrating manual test activities intoPython-based advanced automated test frameworks. 
• Maintain CI/CD pipelinesto ensure code commits are immediately verified against platform standards 
• Perform root cause analysison complex, unusual issues involving software-hardware interactions and memory bottlenecks. 
• Debug communication issuesacross vehicle networks usingCAN,LIN, andAutomotive Ethernetprotocols. 
• Profile and optimize system performance, targeting strict cold-boot times, suspend-to-RAM (STR) current draw, and CPU/memory leak containment. 
• Architect HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) test benchesleveragingdSPACEor NI hardware for automated regression. 
• Advance Python and Robot Framework scriptsinto automated CI/CD pipelines for real-time build verification. 
• Develop strong understanding of various BSP level components and their functionality, hardware platforms. 
• Manage traceability of test coverage from requirements to validation 
• Ensure feature-level integration synchronization, power mode management, Wake-up/sleep strategy robustness. 
• Own system-level regression test planning, drive root cause analysis of cross-domain issues and help support integration war-room activities during DV/PV builds.

Location & Travel Expectations:

• This role may be based out of the Scout Motors corporate headquarters in Charlotte, NC. 
• This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office, with regular in-person meetings and events. 
• Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

• Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 12+ yrs. Of experience 
• Strong understanding of vehicle E/E architecture and ECU-level software stacks, automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet), UDS diagnostics (ISO 14229) and diagnostic communication tools 
• Expert knowledge of Jira, GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins, and Artifactory. ALM/PLM Proficiency in Siemens Polarion, IBM DOORS Next Gen, or PTC Windchill. 
• Strong understanding, development and verification of plant and control models in MATLAB/Simulink for execution in hardware in the loop test environment, dSpace control desk and automation desk   
• Strong understanding of 1st principles in Engineering, result/solution oriented.  
• Familiarity with SW for embedded systems, EE systems and architecture  
• Familiarity with A2B, CAN, Automotive Ethernet, LIN, LVDS communication protocols and Vehicle Network tools, such as CANalyzer, CANoe, etc., 
• Expertise with complex problem solving, data analysis, access/interpret/drive results with extended teams.  
• Knowledge of Automotive design and development process, system requirements, and general engineering best practices

This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.

Initial base salary range = $160,000.00 - $192,500.00
