The Work
Lockheed Martin is looking for a proactive Software Engineer with a strong background in software engineering. In this role you will drive the design, implementation and integration of software products that support our readiness solutions for Naval Combat and Missile Defense Programs across multiple DoW customers. You will work within an Agile environment to transform high level system requirements into validated, deployable software.
The Software Engineer will execute Software engineering processes starting from high level system requirements, product requirements allocation, and product software design through software implementation. Experience with the Java programming language, algorithm and software development is preferred. Experience with software testing is preferred.
Specific Duties:
The engineer will:
1) Implement software changes using modern development tools
2) Integrate software application within a larger system environment
3) Regression test in larger system
