Job description

G MASS Consulting are working with an established Financial Market Infrastructure client to appoint a Client Implementation Project Manager, within their Services function. Our client's team sits at the heart of post sales implementation, ensuring that once a client such as an asset manager, hedge fund or bank has bought one or more products or services, these are configured and implemented correctly.

This role covers the full lifecycle of client implementations, from initial setup through to go live and long term handover, and would suit someone who enjoys owning a project end to end rather than working on one slice of it. You do not need to be a technologist or write code, but you will work extensively with no code configuration tools and will need to get up to speed with these quickly.

We're keen to speak with candidates who bring a blend of strong client communication, financial services knowledge, change management or project delivery experience, and comfort working with data and technical platforms. A genuine interest in how AI and automation can be applied to implementation and delivery work is highly valued, as the team's services are moving toward AI based solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Build knowledge across a wider suite of applications through structured training.
  • Work as part of a broader delivery team, partnering closely with project managers, solution designers, and internal technical teams.
  • Configure system connectivity and integration setups using no code tools, and coordinate data handling logic against agreed technical designs, ensuring a robust review process before anything goes live.
  • Manage configuration and reference data across test and production environments.
  • Own client implementation projects end to end, from initiation through to production.
  • Lead client testing directly, taking ownership of issue diagnosis and resolution.
  • Manage go live, support clients immediately post launch, and hand over cleanly to ongoing support.
  • Maintain clear project documentation and manage change tracking to keep stakeholders informed on risk and progress.
  • Identify practical ways to bring AI and automation into implementation processes, including prompt engineering and AI centred file modelling, and share findings with the team.
  • Act as a technical escalation point for specific project types, and contribute constructively to retrospectives.

Requirements

  • Strong client facing communication skills, whether leading a call or supporting from behind the scenes.
  • Solid understanding of Financial Services and how financial market infrastructure organisations support their client base.
  • Change management or project management experience, with a structured approach to delivery.
  • Comfortable working with structured data formats and protocols such as FIX, XML, or CSV, and confident learning no code configuration tools.
  • Genuine interest in AI technologies, ideally with some hands-on exposure to prompt engineering or AI agents.
  • Confident mapping and documenting detailed workflows.
  • Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is a plus but not essential; equivalent practical experience is welcomed.

Benefits

Salary: up to $95k

Length: initial 12 month contract
