Job description

Software Development Engineer III โ€“ Mobile (React Native)What you'll do:
  • Contribute to the development of Premeraโ€™s nextโ€‘generation suite of React Native mobile applications.
  • Design, build, and enhance mobile features using modern technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Participate in technical design discussions and contribute solutions that support scalability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Develop and maintain clean, testable, and wellโ€‘documented code in an agile delivery environment.
  • Collaborate closely with product owners, designers, and other engineers to deliver software that is simple, intuitive, and easy to use.
  • Participate in pair programming and peer code reviews to improve quality and knowledge sharing.
  • Improve application quality and reliability by writing unit tests and automated UI tests.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues, including production defects, with a focus on customer impact.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies effectively within the team and with delivery partners.
  • Continuously learn and apply new tools, technologies, and techniques to improve mobile engineering practices.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4+ years of professional software development experience.
  • 3+ years of handsโ€‘on experience developing mobile applications with React Native.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience contributing to the design and delivery of productionโ€‘scale mobile applications.
  • Familiarity with TypeScript, modern JavaScript frameworks, and mobile performance optimization.
  • Experience integrating mobile applications with backend services and APIs.
  • Experience working in healthcare or other highly regulated environments.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Experience with iOS or Android application development and an understanding of mobile platform constraints.
  • Experience working in an agile, collaborative team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  • Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
  • Understanding of mobile security best practices.
Physical Requirements:

This role is primarily sedentary, requiring the ability to exert up to 10 lbs of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.

Compensation:

National Plus Salary Range: $111,900.00 - $190,200.00
