RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB ACTIVITIES:

1. Utilize project management tools and software to track progress, maintain documentation, and manage project activities.
2. Assists with managing projects through all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through execution and completion.
3. Coordinate project activities among internal departments, external vendors, and other stakeholders.
4. Maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
5. Drive project execution by working with senior leadership to proactively identifying risks, resolving issues, and communicating progress, priorities, and mitigation plans to stakeholders.
6. Coordinate, organize, and help facilitate project meetings to align teams, track progress, and resolve issues.
7. Prepare meeting agendas, project documentation, status reports, meeting minutes, and project summaries.
8. Monitor project progress and identify at-risk tasks or schedule delays; develop and implement mitigation plans when necessary.
9. Assist with managing project resources and budgets to support successful project execution.
10. Other duties as assigned.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field required.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 3–5 years of project management experience in an engineering, manufacturing, product development, or technical environment preferred. Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing multiple concurrent projects. Demonstrated success delivering projects on time, within budget, and according to defined objectives.

KNOWEDLEGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Strong project planning and scheduling skills. Knowledge of project lifecycle management principles and methodologies. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational, analytical, computer, and critical thinking skills. Ability to coordinate resources and collaborate across departments. Experience with Microsoft Office as well as project management software and reporting tools such as Asta Powerproject or MS Project. Knowledge of project estimation, budget management, scope management, and vendor management.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time at a desk performing extensive computer work. Occasionally lift and carry up to 50lbs.
