RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Technical Engineer in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on Software Engineer who leverages AI-assisted development to build high-quality, scalable cloud applications. The ideal candidate is passionate about using modern AI tools to accelerate software development, improve code quality, automate testing, and increase engineering productivity.
This individual is a self-starter who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, quickly learning new technologies, and delivering secure, scalable solutions in AWS.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
* 2+ years of professional software development experience
* Demonstrated experience using AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, or similar) as an integral part of the software development lifecycle
Experience developing software using one or more of the following programming languages:
* Java
* Go (Golang)
* JavaScript/TypeScript
* Experience designing and deploying applications in AWS
* Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software engineering practices
* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables
* Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to continuously learn new technologies and engineering practices
The Ideal Candidate:
* Uses AI as a core part of their daily software development workflow
* Has experience with one or more modern programming languages (Java, Go, or JavaScript)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
