Department Description: Work and Material Management (WAMM) in the Applications & Analytics (A&A) organization are responsible for the apps, data, and processes needed to intake new work and follow it all the way to completion within the utility company. That’s everything from getting requirements from customers and designing the work, to scheduling and building. The group is a part of a larger technical wing of the company and is currently undergoing a digital first transformation.
 

  • The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications and systems.
  • This role requires advanced technical expertise in programming languages and development tools to create solutions that meet user needs and business objectives.
  • The Senior Software Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams, including other engineers, designers, and product managers, to ensure the software is functional, scalable, and reliable.
  • Additionally, this role plays a key leadership role in mentoring junior and mid-level engineers while driving technical direction and architectural decisions.
  • This is a hybrid role.
  • You will be required to be in our Jackson offices on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
