Job Summary:
Sanas is pioneering the future of human communication with its real-time speech AI platform. The Senior Software Engineer will lead the development of cross-platform applications and design scalable systems while working on advanced AI models.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the development of cross-platform desktop and cloud-hosted web applications that host our advanced speech AI models.
• This role offers an opportunity to design scalable, high performance systems for Windows, Mac, Linux, and Cloud environments, and lead groundbreaking work in self-supervised learning, large-scale pretraining, language processing, and multimodal architecture.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, or Speech Processing and 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Development Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, Senior Software Developer, or related
• 2 years of professional software development experience building complex, high-performance applications, especially those with real-time or near-real-time capabilities
• 2 years of experience advancing accessibility and assistive technologies, with a focus on user-centric design for diverse user groups
• 2 years of experience with cloud-based AI platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), including deploying and managing machine learning models
• 1 year of hands-on experience developing and deploying large-scale models in at least two of the following areas: Speech-to-text (ASR), Text-to-speech (TTS), Voice conversion and speech enhancement, or Speech translation and multimodal learning
• 1 year of experience in self-supervised learning, language processing, contrastive learning, or generative modeling specifically for speech AI applications
• Must successfully complete a competency-based interview.
