Software Engineer Or Full Stack Developer information

Who gets paid more, full stack developer or software engineer?

Generally, software engineers tend to have higher average salaries than full stack developers due to their broader technical expertise and often more specialized roles. However, salaries can vary based on experience, location, industry, and specific skills such as proficiency in certain programming languages or frameworks.

Will Fullstack be replaced by AI?

Full Stack Developers perform a range of tasks that involve both front-end and back-end coding, problem-solving, and system design. While AI tools can assist with coding and automate certain repetitive tasks, they are unlikely to fully replace the need for human developers who require critical thinking, creativity, and understanding of complex systems. Continuous learning and adapting to new technologies remain essential in this role.

Is fullstack developer still in demand?

Full stack developers are currently in high demand due to their ability to work on both front-end and back-end development, making them valuable for many organizations. Skills in frameworks like React, Angular, Node.js, and cloud platforms enhance employability in this role.

What engineers make $500,000?

Senior software engineers, especially those in high-demand fields like machine learning, cloud computing, or working at major tech companies, can earn $500,000 or more annually through base salary, bonuses, and stock options. Achieving this level typically requires extensive experience, advanced skills, and often leadership roles or specialized expertise.

Job description

So, what's the role all about?

We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to design, build, and scale high-quality web applications. You will work across the stack-from intuitive frontend experiences to robust backend systems-while mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction.

How will you make an impact?

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver user[1]focused solutions
  • Architect and implement APIs, services, and data models
  • Improve system reliability, observability, and performance
  • Lead code reviews and enforce engineering best practices
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers
  • Contribute to technical roadmap, system design, and architecture decisions
  • Troubleshoot production issues and drive root cause analysis

Have you got what it takes?

  • 7+ years of experience in full-stack software development
  • Strong proficiency in Frontend: JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Angular, or Vue
  • Strong proficiency in Backend: Node.js, Python, Java, PHP, C#/.NET or similar
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs or GraphQL
  • Solid understanding of databases (SQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, testing, and DevOps practices
  • Strong knowledge of software design patterns and system architecture
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Experience using AI tools (Windsurf, Claude Code, Cursor, CodeX, Anthropic and
  • OpenAI toolchain, etc)
  • Experience with GenAI and AgenticAI

You will have an advantage if you have:

  • Experience with microservices or distributed systems
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
