Senior Software Engineer

Security Clearance: TS/SCI with both Polygraphs is required

Location: Ft. Meade, Maryland

Job Description:

The Software Engineer will be heavily involved with the creation, maintenance, and running of Pig and or PySpark analytics and is responsible for reviewing data ingested tickets and merge requests with other developers on the team.

Will focus on delivering reliable, accurate data to the end users as well as ensuring that day-to-day operations are successful. Including being able to investigate data arriving accurately into the system.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong background in analytics development
  • Pig
  • PySpark

Desired Qualifications:

  • Python
  • Java
  • Scala
  • NiFi
  • Ansible

Certification: IAT Level 2 certification

Education: Bachelors Degree (NOTE: Degree in computer science or IT computer engineering from an accredited college or university.)

Experience:

  • Masters + 6 years
  • Bachelors + 8 years
  • Associates + 10 years
  • No Degree + 12 years
