BUILD AND SUPPORT BUSINESS-CRITICAL SOFTWARE AT COILCRAFT

Position: Software Engineer Location: Cary, Illinois

Are you a software engineer who enjoys building practical, business-critical applications and supporting real users? Do you like working in a stable environment where your code directly supports manufacturing, operations, and enterprise systems? Coilcraft is a successful, privately held global manufacturer headquartered in Cary, Illinois, with a worldwide reputation for high-quality passive electronic components. Our products support industries including telecommunications, computing, automotive, broadband communications, and consumer electronics. We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our team and help design, build, and support internal business applications that integrate with third-party systems and support company-wide operations.

About the Role and Your Impact
  • Develop and program business applications that integrate seamlessly with third-party systems
  • Maintain, enhance, and support both newly developed and existing applications
  • Code and support large-scale data conversions during system upgrades and migrations
  • Provide guidance and technical support to both technical and non-technical users
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective software solutions
Who We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's or Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Proficiency with ASP.NET MVC
  • Experience with C# or Java programming languages
  • Strong working knowledge of relational database management systems (RDBMS), particularly SQL
