Chief Operating Officer US (m/f/d)

Natuvion GmbH

Malvern, PA • On-site

Full-time

Posted 15 days ago

Job description

The role in one line
The operating leader who turns Natuvion's international growth - the US first, then Japan and potentially Brazil - into scalable, repeatable delivery, orchestrated across a global delivery network, with a seat on the global leadership board.
Why this role exists
Natuvion is the global leader in SAP data and business transformation, now part of NTT DATA. Growth is going international, and delivery has to scale with it. Priority one is the US market; close behind are Japan and potentially Brazil, alongside selective acquisitions (e.g. South Africa). We are building a professional, scalable delivery engine outside DACH - orchestrated across a distributed international network (US, India, Slovakia, Hungary, Malaysia, South Africa) - and deploying our own software, Natuvion's transformation platform, with forward-deployed engineering muscle at the customer.
We are hiring a Chief Operating Officer, International to own that build, take a seat on the global leadership board, and partner closely with the US and DACH leadership to make the international story real.
Reporting to: Patric Dahse (Group CEO).
What you will own - the key deliverables
  1. Build and lead scalable and high-performing delivery. Ramp up and manage a professional, scalable project delivery across the US and international markets outside Europe - the operating model, delivery methodology and standards, staffing and partner mix, quality and margin. Turn project successes into a standardized, repeatable, and scalable delivery model.
  2. Orchestrate US projects and programs. Land complex programs across a distributed onshore, nearshore and offshore delivery network - e.g. the US, India, Slovakia, Hungary, Malaysia and South Africa - on time, on quality and on margin.
  3. Deploy Natuvion's software with forward-deployed engineering. Own the deployment of Natuvion's software at customers, standing up a forward-deployed engineering capability that gets the platform into production and proves value inside live customer projects.

Integrate into the board and drive alignment. Take your seat on the global leadership board and drive strategic and operational alignment with the COO Europe region, the US leadership, and Group CEO Patric Dahse - so US and Europe grow synergistically as one company. The broader mandate:
  • Own the operational build-up and scaling of delivery in the US market with priority, including ramp-up and leadership of local delivery team and sequence entry into Japan and, potentially, Brazil.
  • Build and steer the SI / partner channel to extend delivery capacity and market reach.
  • Help identify and integrate selective acquisitions (e.g. South Africa) into the international delivery organization.
  • Build the international leadership bench: recruit and develop country and delivery leaders.
  • Leverage the NTT DATA group wherever it accelerates market access, talent, and delivery.

Required
  • 15+ years in enterprise software or transformation delivery at senior level, with a strong US track record of building and scaling delivery organizations and owning a P&L.
  • Deep domain background in one or more of: SAP, Oracle, a major system integrator (Accenture, Deloitte, PwC), and/or a data-transformation or enterprise-software partner with clear domain know-how.
  • International delivery orchestration: proven ability to run projects and programs across a distributed onshore/nearshore/offshore network (e.g. US, India, Slovakia, Hungary, Malaysia, South Africa).
  • SI market network & partner steering: a strong network across the system-integrator market and partner channel, and a track record of steering partners and managing complex projects and programs through the channel.
  • Proven experience ramping up and professionalizing project delivery at scale - operating model, methodology, quality, utilization, and margin.
  • Native English speaker; you communicate with the clarity and authority expected at board level.
  • A board-ready operating leader - comfortable owning a number, presenting to a board, and driving cross-regional alignment. - US-based, preferably East Coast to allow presence in Malvern, PAwith the willingness to travel internationally (Europe, Japan, Brazil, and the delivery network).
  • Entrepreneurial, hands-on, low-ego - you build the engine and are not above getting into the delivery detail.

Strong plus
  • Data-software background: direct experience with data migration, transformation, or data-lake/platform software - e.g. SNP, Syniti, DMLT, Informatica, Databricks, Snowflake, or similar. - German language skills (the company operates DACH-wide; internal communication is bilingual).
  • Experience with forward-deployed engineering - getting software into production inside live customer projects.
  • Experience in Japan and/or Latin America, with cultural fluency across US, DACH, Japan and the NTT DATA group context.
  • M&A and post-merger integration experience.
  • Familiarity with the SAP S/4HANA transformation and data-migration domain.

What we offer
  • A seat on Natuvion's global leadership board and ownership of the international growth agenda from day one.
  • The mandate to build the international delivery organization your way, with the backing of a global IT-services leader (NTT DATA).
  • A direct line to the Group CEO (Patric Dahse), to whom the role reports, and close partnership with the US and DACH leadership.
  • A high-growth platform at the intersection of enterprise software, AI-native transformation, and global system integration.
  • Competitive executive compensation commensurate with experience (base, performance bonus, and long-term participation components), plus benefits.
  • US base, flexible location, with regular international travel.
