Job description

Software Engineering Intern
Location: San Francisco
Term: Summer
Work Type: In-person
About Infragrid
We're building Infragrid to end the tax of manual financial work. By capturing how businesses operate-using SOPs, screen recordings, and analyst expertise-we compile these processes into deterministic software. The result is an operational platform that powers AI automation across industries like insurance, banking, and commercial real estate. We're backed by a16z, and our team includes engineers from Palantir, Mercor, and AWS.
What You'll Do
  • Ship production software from day one.
  • Participate in customer calls and design solutions directly with founders.
  • Deploy solutions quickly-often within the same week.

You'll work across:
  • Workflow engine
  • Ontology and data model
  • AI-powered applications
  • Screen-recorder-to-code platform
  • Infrastructure and backend systems

What We're Looking For
  • Builders who have developed products people actually use and understand real-world software challenges.
  • Comfort with:
    • React, TypeScript, Python
    • SQL and API development
    • AWS or modern cloud infrastructure
    • Building AI products with LLMs, RAG, or agentic systems

You'll own more product surface area in one summer than most engineers see in their first year at a large company.
