Job description

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for providing a wide range of professional HR services from sourcing through onboarding of employees.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Recruiting
  • Utilize the Internet and SEO for recruitment.
    --Post positions to appropriate Internet sources.
    --Research new ways of using the Internet for recruitment.
    --Use search engines, and social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates.
  • Drive a high-level of traffic to websites and track submittals and resulting hires.
  • Measure and communicate the impact of web community/social media strategies.
  • Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, and internet sites; providing organization information and opportunities.
  • Conduct in-take meetings with hiring managers and sourcing agencies.
  • Conduct prescreening interviews and coordinate interview process.
  • Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements.
  • Communicate with candidates regarding status; verbally and in writing.
  • Conduct new hire onboarding and set-up new hires in UKG Pro.
  • Performs all non-exempt recruiting activities.
  • Tracks data regarding temporary labor pool, and provides hours worked information to applicable agencies on a weekly basis.

Other Employment Activities
  • Manage PTI's intern program, including identification of positions available, coordination of intern activities, and celebrating the conclusion of intern projects.
  • Enters and maintains data related to employees.
  • Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
  • Coordinates drug screens and background checks
  • Uses UKG and other sources as needed to gather information; creates/updates key HR metrics
  • Assists employees with accessing and utilizing UltiPro as needed.
  • Accurately maintain recruiting records and prepare analytical reports as required.
  • Perform other Generalist duties or projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • BS degree or equivalent
  • 2-5 years of staffing/recruiting experience, strong understanding and ability to recruit all areas of the organization from production to engineering. Manufacturing industry preferred.
  • Intermediate ATS skills; UKG Pro preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred.

  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn social media platforms, human capital management software and similar computer applications.

Base Pay Range: $70,000-$85,000
Compensation Disclosure:
At Phillips and Temro Industries, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is listed above. Your base pay will depend on your skills, education, qualifications, experience, and location. The final salary offer will be based on these criteria and may differ based on the candidate's experience and qualifications and other job-related reasons.
