MBC, located in Willoughby, Ohio, is sourcing students for summer internship. We have opportunities in Cleveland and the surrounding counties.

Overview:

We are looking for self-driven intern candidates in Construction Management, Project Management, Estimating, Project Engineering for the summer 2022. Start and end dates are flexible based on semester schedules. Candidates should possess a strong desire to learn and a strong work ethic.

Our interns are provided real-world experiences and an opportunity to collaborate and interact with all aspects of our Carpentry & Interiors/Construction Management/ Multi-Family Housing/Design Build and/or Special Projects Groups: Project Management, Estimating, and Administrative staff.

Candidates will work with senior staff members to address problems and provide solutions both on and off the job site.

Our internships are designed to provide a teaching and understanding of business ethics and etiquette, total quality management, client relationships, and marketing styles in maintaining and building business relationships.


Description:

  • Assist with records of all drawings and updates.
  • Assist with distribute information, and drawings to all necessary parties in a timely manner.
  • Assist with received, reviewed, logged, tracked and distributed RFI's (Requests for Information), submittals, and daily reports in the project management software.
  • Receive, review, log, track and schedule on-site material deliveries.
  • Assist with establishing bids, project set ups, and project bidding.
  • Other work as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Prefer juniors and seniors pursuing construction management related majors.
  • Willingness to help with and learn a variety of tasks.
  • Well organized, self-motivated, and positive demeanor
  • Willingness to collaborate with staff.
  • Comfortable in diverse settings.
