Softwareengineers must be skilled in development, writing code, anddocumenting functionality.
- Executing full life-cycle software development
- Writing well designed, testable, efficient code
- Producing specifications and determiningoperational feasibility
- Integrating software components into fullyfunctional software systems
- Developingsoftware verification plansand quality assurance procedures
- Documenting and maintaining software functionality
- Tailoring and deploying software tools,processes and metrics
- Serving as a subject matter expert
- Complyingwith project plans and industry standards
Requirements- Provenwork experience in as a computer software engineer or software developer
- Hands onexperience in designing interactive applications
- Ability todevelop software in C, C++, C#, Java or other selected languages
- Excellentknowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies(JPA2, Hibernate)
- Experience indeveloping web applications using at least one popular webframework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC)
- Experience withtest-driven development
- Mastery insoftware engineering tools
- Ability todocument requirements and specifications
- Familiaritywith software development methodology and release processes
- A degree inComputer Science or Engineering
- ITILv3, Agile
