Instructional Designer - Relocate to Saudi Arabia, Permanent Expat Relocation Package Join to apply for the role at aramco. This position requires full relocation to Saudi Arabia. It is a permanent full-time expatriate family relocation package.

Job Overview We are seeking a qualified and creative Instructional Designer to design to work for the Downstream Learning and Development Department (DLDD). DLDD delivers technical and professional training to enhance downstream workforce capability and strengthen organizational performance. Your primary role is to develop high-quality learning experiences that support the Downstream organization.

You will work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), training stakeholders, and internal partners to ensure programs are designed using evidence-based instructional practices and evaluated through robust performance metrics. Key Responsibilities Analyze learning needs and performance gaps to design effective instructional solutions. Design and develop detailed instructional design documents, storyboards, scripts, and learning outlines.

Review learning activities, curricula, and course materials that drive effective knowledge transfer and on-the-job performance. Define clear instructional goals and ensure all training materials, assessments, and learning assets align with these objectives. Create engaging exercises, activities, and multimedia elements that enhance learner engagement and support skill application.

Design and produce polished PowerPoint presentations for instructor-led and virtual training sessions. Evaluate programs using data, feedback, and performance metrics to recommend improvements. Maintain accurate project documentation, course files, and version control across DLDD systems.

Collaborate with SMEs to translate complex information into clear, engaging learning assets. Assess, manage, and work with external training vendors to ensure training programs meet DLDD standards for design, development, and delivery. Stay current with learning trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in instructional design and workforce development.

Design assessments, quizzes, and evaluation strategies aligned with measurable learning outcomes. Apply adult learning principles, learning science theories, and user experience best practices to all solutions. Conduct usability testing, gather learner feedback, and iterate designs for continuous improvement.

Ensure learning materials meet accessibility standards and follow organizational branding. Required Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years' experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or program evaluation.

Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design frameworks, and evaluation methodologies. Experience designing and developing training content aligned with learning objectives and organizational needs. Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, and Adobe Captivate.

Familiarity with graphic design and multimedia tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or Camtasia. Ability to create simple visual assets, animations, or interactive elements using tools like Canva, Vyond, or similar platforms. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills. Familiarity with AI-assisted learning design tools to support efficiency and innovation in training development. Advanced proficiency with PowerPoint for designing instructor-led content, visual layouts, and prototypes.
