PRISM is seeking a Multimedia Toolkit Lead Developer (Senior Software Engineer) in Clarksburg, WV, to perform systems engineering and lead an agile development team in building and maintaining a petabyte-scale multimedia review tool. In this role, you will act as the codebase subject matter expert, integrating automated ingestion workflows, data analytics, and security enhancements to deliver seamless, high-throughput multimedia processing across geographically separated operational environments. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform system engineering and develop a multimedia review tool using agile methodology to integrate bug fixes, security enhancements and new capabilities. Act as a subject matter expert for all portions of the multimedia review tool code base and lead a team of developers to implement new features and resolve software issues. Deliver multimedia review tool builds using agile processes to deliver incremental builds based upon agreed upon MXU requirements. Develop and enhance multimedia review tool to visually display, correlate and report multimedia data based upon metadata and analytic results Integrate ingestion workflow with other MXU systems to seamlessly transition and communicate data and processing results between systems that may be geographically separated with limited bandwidth. Integrate MXU's analytics to enable users to quickly and intuitively view images. Perform system engineering and system administration to deploy the multimedia review tool to all MXU designated development and operational environments. Perform system engineering and system administration to maintain multimedia review tool deployments within various infrastructures, including ensuring the tool remains consistent with all policies, procedures, and requirements. Provide level of effort and timing decisions during planning sessions. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: (SKILLS/EDUCATION): In-depth knowledge of multimedia processing, analysis, and data management including direct and recent experience building a petabyte-scale multimedia analysis platform. Experience developing and maintaining applications that handle petabyte-scale data and high-throughput processing. Proficiency in the Java programming language as well as front-end technologies JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Vue. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices. Demonstrated ability to lead a technical team, including setting goals, assigning tasks, and driving projects to completion. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex software issues. Experience with user interface and user experience design, ensuring that tools are accessible and efficient for end users. Relevant certifications related to technical architecture or software engineering preferred. U.S. citizenship and must have an active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI access.
