Job Summary:
SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Software Engineer II to join their team in Dahlgren, VA. This role involves working with various experts to analyze requirements, design software solutions, support integration and testing, and manage software deliveries.
Responsibilities:
• analyze and decompose requirements
• design software approaches
• support integration and test
• manage interfaces
• assess software deliveries
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent engineering/technical degree with a concentration in computer science courses.
• At least 5 years’ experience and proven performance in software engineering, including problem analysis and resolution, requirements analysis and definition, design, code, and integration testing.
• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Experience with C++ and Java is required.
• Proven knowledge and experience applying design patterns and object-oriented programming.
Preferred:
• Experience with LINUX/UNIX and Jira is a plus.
• Knowledge of container technologies and orchestration preferred.
• Experience with combat systems, control systems, QT, GPB, and AMQP is preferred.
• Experience with JavaScript and Python.
• Knowledge of GIT and SVN.
