Job description

Job Summary:
Integrity is one of the nationโ€™s leading independent distributors of life, health and wealth insurance products, driven by a singular purpose to help people protect their life, health, and wealth. They are seeking a Software Engineer I to build and maintain full-stack web applications, design RESTful APIs, and collaborate with teams to ensure code quality and application performance.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Build and maintain full-stack web applications using Blazor (Server and/or WebAssembly) and ASP.NET Core
โ€ข Design and implement RESTful APIs, background services, and data access layers using .NET 8+ and Entity Framework Core
โ€ข Write and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, and end-to-end) to ensure code quality and prevent regressions
โ€ข Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot applications hosted on Microsoft Azure (App Services, Azure SQL, Azure Functions, Storage, etc.)
โ€ข Participate in CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance using GitHub Actions
โ€ข Collaborate with product, design, and fellow engineers through code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint ceremonies
โ€ข Contribute to technical documentation and help establish team standards and best practices
โ€ข Investigate and resolve production issues, balancing speed with long-term code health
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข 0-3 years of professional software development experience.
โ€ข Bachelors or Associates degree in Computer Science.
โ€ข Strong communication skills and the ability to pair with colleagues to gain relevant experience.
โ€ข Proficiency with a modern programming language (python, c#, java, Go, etc)
โ€ข Front-end fundamentals: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript
โ€ข Familiarity with relational databases
Preferred:
โ€ข Experience with GitHub Actions or CI/CD workflows
โ€ข Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration basics
โ€ข Exposure to messaging systems (Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ)
โ€ข Experience with identity and access management (Azure AD / Entra ID, OAuth/OIDC)
โ€ข Understanding of clean architecture, CQRS, or domain-driven design patterns
โ€ข Any Azure certifications (AZ-900, AZ-204, etc.)
