Join Charge Rigs as a Sr. Fabricator and help build cutting-edge EV charging hardware on our manufacturing line in Apopka, FL. Your expertise in fabrication will shape the future of sustainable transportation solutions.

As a Sr. Fabricator at Charge Rigs, you will play a crucial role in building our industry-leading EV charging hardware. You will work hands‑on in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, collaborating with engineers and production teams to ensure the highest quality standards. Your expertise in welding, machining, and assembly will directly contribute to the success of our innovative product lines.

Responsibilities
  • Fabricate and assemble metal and composite components for EV charging hardware, including OMEGA, FLEXX, GenIQ, DYNAMO, and APEX product lines.
  • Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and CAD drawings to ensure precise fabrication and assembly.
  • Operate a variety of shop equipment, including CNC machines, welding equipment, and hand tools, to produce high‑quality components.
  • Perform quality checks on fabricated parts to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and tolerances.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve fabrication challenges.
  • Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and the fabrication area to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and contribute to a culture of workplace safety.
  • Provide input on design improvements to enhance manufacturability and reduce production time.
  • Train and mentor junior fabricators and production staff as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience in fabrication, welding, or machining in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques; AWS certification is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical schematics.
  • Familiarity with operating CNC machines, lathes, mills, and other fabrication tools.
  • Strong understanding of metal properties, tolerances, and finishing processes.
  • Experience working with aluminum, steel, and composite materials.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
