.NET Software Engineer / SRE II
DETAILS

JOB SUMMARY
Vaco is currently seeking a .NET Software Engineer / SRE II for a Direct-Hire opportunity that is located in Arlington, TX 76014 (hybrid onsite 2-days per week). The .NET Software Engineer / SRE II will help bridge the gap between software development and Site Reliability Engineering by leveraging strong .NET development skills to improve application reliability, automation, scalability, and operational excellence across enterprise financial platforms.
About the Project: This is an ongoing multi-year digital transformation initiative (now roughly 2+ years in) focused on modernizing financial services platforms, making them more scalable, reliable, automated, and cloud-native. The .NET Software Engineer / SRE II will work alongside Software Engineering and Site Reliability Engineering teams to develop, enhance, and support internal engineering solutions that improve application reliability, automation, and developer productivity. Rather than building customer-facing business applications, the Software Engineer / SRE II will contribute to enterprise engineering initiatives by enhancing existing .NET applications, troubleshooting complex production issues, implementing automation solutions, improving operational reliability, and supporting cloud-native development practices across the Microsoft technology ecosystem. This is not a traditional infrastructure-focused SRE role, nor a typical business application developer position. Instead, it provides an opportunity for an experienced Software Engineer to expand expertise in cloud technologies, DevOps, automation, and Site Reliability Engineering while taking greater ownership of enterprise-scale engineering initiatives.
