The Development Summer Intern will support theteamwith project reporting, data management,budget andcash flow tracking, documentationmanagement,permitting and utility coordination,andoverall projectexecution support acrossvarious stages ofthe development lifecycle. This role offers exposure tomanyallfacetsof industrial real estatedevelopment, from site evaluation,anddue diligence, design and entitlement coordination, Financial Analysis,throughconstruction management, leasingassumptionsand delivery of completed developments.

What You WillDo:

  • Assist the Development Teamwith active projectsin various stages of the development lifecycle, including site evaluation, due diligence, design coordination, cost estimating, financial modeling, leasing assumptions, construction management, and project closeout.

  • Maintain project files, trackers, contracts, invoices, and other development records to ensure information isaccurate, organized, and readily accessible.

  • Helpestablish, track, and monitor project budgets,schedules, and key project milestonesthroughout the development lifecycleto ensure project records areaccurate, organized, and current.

  • Maintain market lease assumptions and support updates as project budgets, schedules, and market conditions evolve.

  • Support project documentation and cash flow projections, ensuring key records areaccurate, organized, and current.

  • Assistwith project documentation,permittracking, utility coordination, and stakeholder communications, ensuring project records areaccurate, organized, and current.

  • Support the closeout process for completed developments, including collection of final documentation and confirmation that financial records arefinalized.

Qualifications:

  • Current junior, undergraduate student at an accredited four-yearinstitution;must be actively enrolled at the time of consideration.

  • Pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, real estate, economics, mathematics, business, civil engineering, construction management, ora relatedfield.

  • Interest in commercial real estate, industrial real estate,development, project management, investment, or construction; no formal experiencerequired.

  • Basic understanding of real estate investment,financing, market analysis, financial analysis, property valuation, development timelines, schedules, and cost estimation.

  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; familiarity with project management tools or AI-enabled applications is a plus.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • High attention to detail and comfort interacting with cross-functional teams and senior-level stakeholders.

$30/hour represents the presently anticipated base compensation pay range for this position at Link. Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
