Job description POSITION SUMMARYDSO Mechanical LLC is seeking a motivated Project Manager / Estimator to join our team in South Charleston, WV. In this role, you will support the estimating and purchasing functions for our construction and service work, while assisting with project budgets and closeout documentation. This position offers hands-on exposure to all phases of mechanical construction projects and works closely with the Operations Manager to help DSO Mechanical LLC deliver projects efficiently and pursue operational excellence.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESEstimating Assist with construction and service estimating Review project specifications, drawings, and scopes of work to support accurate bid preparation Purchasing Review specifications and quotes from vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors Help negotiate pricing and terms with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors Track material and equipment deliveries to keep projects on schedule Budgets Assist with project budgets once a job has been awarded Support tracking of project costs against budget throughout the project lifecycle Documentation Assist with project closeout documentation Assist with permitting and coordination of required inspections Maintain organized, accurate, and complete project files QUALIFICATIONS 1โ€“3 years of experience in construction, estimating, project management, or a related field preferred Familiarity with construction estimating, purchasing, and project documentation processes a plus Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook); experience with estimating or project management software a plus Positive, professional demeanor with a team-oriented attitude Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered WORK ENVIRONMENT Office-based role in South Charleston, WV with occasional site visits to project locations Collaborative, fast-paced environment requiring flexibility and adaptability
