JOB SUMMARY

TekniPlex is hiring a R&D Project Manager for our Eatontown, NJ facility. Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through a designee.  May help with executing project actions such as supporting design or process improvements or manufacturing documentation. Salary range for this role is $100,000 to $120,000 annually.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
  • Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.
  • Confers with project staff to outline a work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
  • Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
  • Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required.
  • Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
  • Prepares project reports for management, client, or others.
  • Holds customer meetings and manages customer communications.
  • Maintains thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment.
  • Understand and document customer/project requirements.
  • Define and document product/engineering specifications and other project deliverables.
  • Develop and optimize designs or processes for implants and catheter-based systems.

Qualifications/Experience; Minimum Requirements:

  • 4 yr. Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering or related science field.
  • Project Manager certification a plus.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a new product development environment, manufacturing environment, or related field.
  • Strong leadership experience
  • Proficiency with required Computer Aided Design and Engineering tools.
  • Creo and AutoCAD are preferred
  • Proficiency with typical office software, word processors, spreadsheet, databases, etc.
