Who We Are
Ivy Tech Community College is Indiana's largest public postsecondary institution and the nation's largest singly accredited statewide community college system, accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. Ivy Tech has campuses throughout Indiana and also serves thousands of students annually online. It serves as the state's engine of workforce development, offering associate degrees, short-term certificate programs, industry certifications, and training that aligns to the needs of the community. The College provides seamless transfer to other colleges and universities in Indiana, as well as out of state, for a more affordable route to a Bachelor's degree. This position will be based out of the Bloomington campus, working with multiple departments in a team setting.
What You Will Do- Assist students with troubleshooting computer equipment including hardware and software issues
- Help to setup equipment and demonstrations for student labs as part of academic coursework
- Work with other Ivy Tech staff to address hardware and software needs on campus issued laptops and equipment
- Set up equipment for staff use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software
- Troubleshoot incoming calls and help tickets, and work with IT Help Desk staff to devise a plan of action to help staff and students
- Create and maintain documentation as requested of supervisor
- Like troubleshooting and working with computers
